Diane Kroe

Diane Kroe is a fashion designer, stylist and CEO of Diane Kroe Inc. She is also an accomplished pattern drafter, expert woman’s apparel fashion buyer and retail merchandiser.

Her introduction to the fashion world began when she was 14, buying designer clothing wholesale and reselling to her friends at school. Within a few years she was working for a popular Toronto designer as a full time assistant by day and studying fashion at Seneca then Ryerson at night.

Seeking inspiration, Diane lived and traveled through out Europe while studying fashion in Italy. By the age of 25 she had her own successful wholesale label “La Rapp”. Her designs sold by retailers across Canada. She also created collections shown at the Prêt à Porter-Paris and The Magic Show-Las Vegas.

Starting a family required a change of pace, in 97 she opened her retail location in the affluent Forest Hill area in North Toronto under the name Diane Kroe and was awarded best designer boutique for 8 consecutive years by The North Toronto Post. After 10 successful years in retail she sold her store and launched her Travel Collection in 2008. Winning best Mompreneur on Slice TV and featured in Canadian Family Magazine. Her success soon lead to designing collections for leading resorts, spas and hotels across Canada and the US.

As a designer Diane spends her time creating new collections and traveling to world renowned destination spas. She hand picks only the best, in order to guarantee exclusivity. Personally showing her work and touring each property which enables Diane the ability to fine tune each Signature Collection to suit the unique cliental of each establishment.

Now, Diane is designing and producing her Travel Collection for her upcoming 2012 Retail Shows in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and Ottawa. She is also excited to include The Spa at The Ritz-Carlton - Toronto and The Ancient Cedars Spa at The Wickaninnish Inn - Tofino to her customer portfolio for 2012.

My design philosophy is to create timeless yet functional clothing for women who love to travel.
